Trial

They arrested Jesus and turned Him over to the Roman governor to be executed.

Day 64 ~ Matthew 26:57-68 Jesus' trial before the high council.

Day 65 ~ Mark 15:1-15 Jesus' trial before Pilate.

Day 66 ~ Luke 23:1-25 Jesus' trial before Herod.

Crucifixion

Roman soldiers nailed Jesus to a cross and He died.

Day 67 ~ Matthew 27:32-56 Jesus dies on the cross.

Day 68 ~ Mark 15:21-41 Jesus is crucified.

Day 69 ~ Luke 23:26-49 Jesus forgives the criminal on the cross.

Resurrection

But on the third day, Jesus rose again, defeating death and sin forever and reconciling sinful people with their holy God!

Day 70 ~ Matthew 28:1-10 Jesus is risen!

Day 71 ~ Luke 24:1-12 The empty tomb.

Day 72 ~ John 21:1-18 Jesus appears to Mary Magdalene.

Ascension After appearing to His followers over a period of 40 days, Jesus ascended into Heaven.

Day 73 ~ Matthew 28:16-20 The great commission.

Day 74 ~ Luke 24:13-53 Jesus appears to His disciples.

Day 75 ~ Acts 1:3-11 Jesus ascends to Heaven.

Spirit

Jesus had promised to His followers that the Holy Spirit would be with them and guide them, and this promise was soon fulfilled.

Day 76 ~ Joel 2:28-32 The Lord promises the Holy Spirit.

Day 77 ~ John 20:19-23 Jesus gives His followers the Holy Spirit.

Day 78 ~ Acts 2:1-41 The Holy Spirit comes at Pentecost.

Church

Jesus' followers formed the first church, a community committed to loving God and one another.

Day 79 ~ Acts 4:32-37 The believers are united.

Day 80 ~ Acts 6:1-7 The believers get organized.

Day 81 ~ Acts 15:1-35 The church handles the first conflict.

Persecution

With power from the Holy Spirit, believers proclaimed that Jesus is Lord, even when they were mistreated, imprisoned, or even killed for their faith in Jesus.

Day 82 ~ Acts 4 Peter and John before council.

Day 83 ~ Acts 6:8- 8:3 Stephan is killed for the faith.

Day 84 ~ 2 Timothy 3:10-17 Paul addresses persecuted believers.

Spread

Some of them traveled far and wide, proclaiming the gospel as they went and started new churches.

Day 85 ~ Acts 8:4-40 Phillip preaches to the Samaritans.

Day 86 ~ Acts 10 The Gentiles hear the Good News.

Day 87 ~ Acts 13-14 The Holy Spirit sends Paul and Barnabas.

Return

One day, Jesus will return, sin and death with end, and God will live with His people forever in a renewed creation.

Day 88 ~ Hebrews 4:1-13 Promised rest for God's people.

Day 89 ~ 2 Peter 3:1-16 The Day of the Lord is coming.

Day 90 ~ Revelations 21-22 The Kingdom is finally here.
